It was with great pleasure the outgoing team Captains of Liphook Golf Club, Gillian Howeth and Peter Mobsby presented a cheque for £6,000 to Julie Cotsell from the Rosemary Foundation. Gillian and Peter had chosen The Rosemary Foundation (a Petersfield based nursing charity, providing care at end of life, at home), as their charity for the year and club members had joined in many events including a charity ‘Bridge Drive’ to raise an amazing £6,000.
Julie Cotsell explained that the Rosemary Foundation receives no statutory funding and can only continue with gifts such as those received from Liphook Golf Club. She added, “a huge thank you to all members of the club for this fantastic boost to the Foundation’s funds”.
