*By Brompton to Cleethorpes*

RF Nick Grogan1

Nick has his route planned – 250 miles from Langrish to Old Clee near Cleethorpes

Nick has now decided (5th April) that they will do the ride in the opposite direction, starting at Old Clee Church on 16th August and hoping to be home on 19th or 20th. Sounds to me like the old farmer’s horse that always went best going home.

Nick Grogan is planning a sponsored cycle ride with a difference this August. At least three riders (maybe more?) will leave Langrish to do the 250 miles to Cleethorpes. Why Cleethorpes? Well the ride is in in memory of Nicks parents who came from Old Clee near the Lincolnshire seaside town.

And there’s another difference – all the riders will be mounted on Brompton folding bicycles – the small but perfectly formed bicycles you often see carried onto the train or the bus.

Nick will be accompanied by his friends Rob and Zoe Pool who will be raising funds for their own charities. Nick will soon be setting up a fund raising page and details will follow shortly.
