When you get a phone call saying “I’m going to do a sponsored cycle ride in aid of the Rosemary Foundation” I am always very impressed at peoples courage and tenacity. When Bill Budd said he was going to do one hundred kilometres it sounded good.

But then he said ” and 100 kilometres the next day – and the next day, and the next day –  every day for sixty days”. He translated that into “old money” as 3,728 miles. What more can I say! He’s planning to do this next year and as a warm up is arranging a do a six man relay race from John O’Groats to Lands End in a target time of 60 hours.
