A miserable day, with the rain pouring down, was this going to stop people coming out to our Christmas Fayre? Not a bit of it, from 10:00am when the doors opened, to the close at 1:00pm, East Meon Village Hall was full of people who had come to support The Rosemary Foundation, and children who had come to see Father Christmas.
The stalls did a roaring trade with the cake stall selling out in record time and the kitchen was hard pressed to keep up with the demand for coffee and mince pies. The Event Co-ordinator, Lindy Coles was delighted to announce that over £2,000 had been raised and was in no doubt that the additional efforts to publicise the event had really paid off this year.
