When we are helping you to look after a family member at home never hesitate to ask our nurses about any problems you may have. It may be to do with bathing or showering, extra pillows to sit up in bed, a wheel chair so the patient can enjoy the garden, or a spouted cup so the patient can drink lying down.
It may be that the patient mowed the lawn, or drove the car for shopping. They may have massaged your stiff shoulder, or cut your toe nails. They may be the only family member who knows how the computer works.
We may be able to help – if we cannot we almost certainly know someone who can. If you have a problem – please talk to your carer.
